Botanical Garden of the University of Wrocław

Established in 1811, the garden delights visitors with its wealth of plants from all over the world, romantic alleys, bridges over ponds and numerous secluded spots perfect for a peaceful stroll. In spring, it is particularly enchanting with its dazzling colours of blooming magnolias, tulips and rhododendrons, creating a true oasis of nature in the heart of Wrocław. It is the perfect place to slow down for a moment and relax amidst the greenery during your stay in the city.

You can easily reach the garden directly from Hotel Herbal. The most pleasant option is to walk, which takes about 20–25 minutes. The route takes you through the charming streets of the old town, towards the Market Square, and then through the area around Ostrów Tumski also known as Cathedral Island – the oldest and most picturesque part of Wrocław.

Alternatively, you can use public transport. From the nearby tram stop on Krupnicza Street, tram line 11 departs towards 'Plac Bema' stop. From there, it is just a few minutes’ walk to the Botanical Garden.
